PCSO searches for 2 women who tried to strangle victim with bra

SAN TAN VALLEY, AZ - Authorities in Pinal County are searching for two women who tried to strangle a home invasion victim with a bra.

County Sheriff's officials released a sketch of one of the attackers Wednesday in a Sept. 25 home invasion in San Tan Valley near N. Gantzel and W. Chandler Heights roads.

They say the woman depicted in the sketch allegedly wrapped a bra and other items around the female victim's throat while her accomplice robbed the house.

The two home invaders eventually fled and authorities say the unidentified victim suffered a cut to her head that required stitches.

Sheriff's officials say it's unclear if the victim's home was targeted or if the attackers knew the victim.

They say the two women knocked on the victim's front door and then forced their way into the home and attacked her.

The suspect in the sketch is described as a white or light skinned Hispanic female in her late 20s, 5-feet-6-inches to 5-feet-7-inches tall and weighs 180 to 200 pounds.

She has brown hair, brown eyes, shoulder length hair (which was in a ponytail at the time), and was last seen wearing a black shirt and shorts.

If anyone has information on the incident or suspects, you're urged to call PCSO at 520-866-5111 or 1-800-420-8689.
