The westbound lanes of the US 60 reopened at the Loop 101 after a fatal accident involving a motorcyclist.
According to the Department of Public Safety spokesman Bart Graves, a motorcycle rider was trying to transition to the northbound Loop 101 onramp from the US 60 when broadsided by a pickup truck.
Westbound traffic was taken off at the US 60 and Loop 101 exit.
The US 60 was closed from 9:30 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. while officials investigated the scene.
The driver of the motorcycle has not been identified.
