Two men suspected of two valley robberies

PHOENIX - Officials are asking for the public’s help in finding two men who recently robbed a Rent a Center in Phoenix

Authorities said on Monday, July 7 at 7:16 p.m. two men entered the store near 32nd Street and McDowell Road and demanded money from the register.

One of the suspects pointed a handgun at the ground during the robbery.

The employees gave one of the suspects the money as the other suspect went to the store’s office and opened filing drawers.

Both of the men got away on foot, officials said.

Mesa police believe the same suspects are involved in another armed robbery of a Boost Mobile store on July 13 near Alma School and Broadway Road.

The first suspect is described as a Hispanic male, 25 to 35 years old, weighing 160 pounds with black hair, a mustache and goatee with tattoos on right and left arms.

The second suspect is described as a Hispanic male, 25 to 35 years old, weighing 220 pounds with black hair, mustache and other facial hair.
