Randolph Lucero's family seeks help in 2007 Mesa murder

MESA, AZ - The family of a man killed in Mesa nearly six years ago is asking for the community's help in finding out who's responsible.

They're hoping someone knows who killed a loving father, brother and all around "good guy."

Randolph Lucero was found dead in his apartment near E. University Drive and Power Road on a county island east of Mesa on Jan. 27, 2007.

Blunt force trauma was the cause of death.

An amateur boxer, Lucero could hold his own in a fight, but he was recovering from hernia surgery.

And nobody seems to know who would want Lucero dead.

"He always made people smile," his daughter, Chantelle Lucero said. "He was the life of the party but would do anything for any of us."

He was a car salesman for many years in Mesa and had recently found his way into the loan business.
