Police looking for suspect in Mesa who demanded Oxycodone from pharmacy

MESA, AZ - Mesa police are looking for a man who allegedly demanded Oxycodone from an Albertson’s Osco Pharmacy Tuesday evening around 8 p.m.

According to Mesa Police, the suspect entered the store on University and Val Vista Drive and waited for customers in the pharmacy to clear out.

He handed the pharmacist a note demanding Oxycodone and money. He also simulated a weapon in his waistband, but no weapon was seen.

The pharmacist gave the suspect Oxycodone and the suspect fled the store.

Mesa police are looking for a man in his mid-30s, 5 foot and 130 pounds.

He was last seen wearing jeans, a white shirt, had a white cloth draped over his face and a black baseball cap pulled over his eyes.
