Mesa police looking for missing teenager Jophrey Cord

MESA, AZ - The Mesa Police Department is asking for the public's help locating a 13-year-old boy who has not been seen since early Monday morning.

Mesa police spokesman Steve Berry said Jophrey Cord was last seen at his Mesa home around 4 a.m.

Berry said when his family went to wake him up the next day, they found a note saying he was running away and the family would be better without him.

Berry said Jophrey has no cell phone and no money with him.

Jophrey is described as a white male with brown eyes, 5 feet, 6 inches tall, 130 pounds and was last seen wearing a purple shirt, jeans, a light blue hoodie with "Hurley" on the front and skater shoes.
