Mesa Hydration Donation campaign, other organizations look for summer water donations for homeless

MESA - High temperatures are lingering in the triple digits and organizations around the Valley are urging residents to donate water bottles to those in need in the area.

Mesa's Hydration Donation campaign offers water bottles to the homeless population when temperatures get dangerously high.

The City of Mesa offers multiple drop-off locations for those interested in donating water.

Some locations include Mesa Main Library, Fiesta Mall Guest Services, Mesa Chamber of Commerce and United Food Bank.

Phoenix Rescue Mission is also looking for water, as well as other heat-relief items.

The public can drop off water from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 8 a.m. to noon on Saturday at the Mission's warehouse, 1468 N. 26th Ave., Phoenix, AZ 85009.
