Maricopa County Sheriff's officials are looking for a man who failed to return home after a walk in Mesa on Thursday evening.
Oliver Vern, 75, reportedly left his home near Recker Road and University Drive around 5:30 p.m. He left home to take a walk, but never arrived back, according to his wife.
Vern has no cell phone or other kin nearby.
MCSO says he does not have mental issues, but is in remission for brain cancer.
He was last seen wearing a horizontal striped shirt, navy blue shorts and sneakers. He is around 5 feet, 10 inches tall, 220 pounds, has blue eyes and a bald head.
