MESA, AZ - Maricopa County authorities have arrested a man accused of shooting his girlfriend to death in the desert northeast of Mesa.

Sheriff's officials say the 21-year-old suspect has been booked into jail on suspicion of one count each of first-degree premeditated murder, aggravated assault and unlawful imprisonment.
