MESA, AZ - Police and family members are searching for a Mesa man who hasn't been seen for two weeks and suffers from severe liver disease, among other ailments.
Sgt. Tony Landato said 54-year-old Brad Woolsey was last seen by a friend nearly two weeks ago near Brown Road and Alma School Road in Mesa. He was last seen July 24.
Woolsey suffers from severe liver disease, rheumatoid arthritis and depression, according to a police report. Family members said he has made suicidal threats in the past and can be "emotionally unstable."
He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a light colored t-shirt and black tennis shoes. He may have been riding a purple Schwinn mountain bike.
He is described as 5 feet 10 inches tall, 150 pounds and had a wizard tattoo on his back.
He is known to frequent the desert near Alma School Road and the Loop 202, but it is "out of character" for him to be out of touch for more than a week.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Mesa Police Department at 480-644-2211. The case number is #20132110508.
