At least seven men from all over the Valley were arrested in an underage sex sting set up by Mesa Police early in 2016.

According to court documents, on Jan. 7, police conducted an operation targeting people who solicit sex from underage girls online.

Two undercover Mesa police officers placed an advertisement online as posing as "Tika" and "Jenna", both 16 years old.

Police say seven men from Phoenix to Fountain Hills, ranging in age from 21 to 67, answered by either calling or texting the number listed in the ad.

A meeting was set up at a hotel near U.S. 60 and Dobson where the men gave anywhere from $40 to $160 to have sex with the ”teens".

Police say one of them said he wanted to role play father-daughter sex.

Another placed the money in an envelope with the words “happy birthday” on it.

All are being charged on counts of prostitution with a minor.
