MESA, AZ - Police say the suspect in Wednesday's Phoenix office shooting and his car have been located Thursday morning at Mesa Riverview.
A person matching the description of the suspect, 70-year-old Arthur Douglas Harmon, was found near the car with what appears to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound, according to Phoenix police Sgt. Steve Martos.
Martos later confirmed the body is of Harmon.
A landscaper discovered the body at the shopping center near Loop 202 and Dobson Road along the Logan Roadhouse restaurant, police said.
Mesa police then found Harmon's vehicle, Martos said.
Harmon was wanted for shooting and killing two men and injuring a woman Wednesday morning at a Phoenix law firm office near 16th Street and Glendale Avenue.
Phoenix police said a Springfield 1911 .45 caliber pistol, a Ruger .22 caliber pistol, and a 1970s vintage Colt AR15 rifle were recovered at Mesa Riverview.
The pistols were used in the office shooting, and the rifle was used to fire at a Good Samaritan who tried to follow Harmon after the shooting, according to Phoenix police.
