The Thirsty Lion Gastropub & Grill will open its newest location next month.
LastOctober, we reported that Thirsty Lion was planning to open a restaurant in Gilbert within the San Tan Village shopping center. It was initially thought to open in March, but as often happens with construction, the grand opening was pushed back.
We now know that it will officially open to the public on Tuesday, May 3.
A grand opening celebration will take place at 10:45 a.m. and the restaurant will be open for business at 11 a.m.
This is the third location in the Valley for the fused European-American gastropub. The other two are located at Tempe Marketplace and in Scottsdale.
The Gilbert location has 7,000 square feet of space inside, which fits a 32-seat bar, and a 1500-square-foot patio with two fire pits and three flat-screen TVs. You can view a menu from the Scottsdale location here.
It'll be located at 2212 E. Williams Field Road in Gilbert.
