GILBERT, AZ - A six-year-old girl is in stable condition after she was attacked by a Rottweiler at a city of Gilbert dog park Thursday.
The young girl was at Cosmo Dog Park near Ray Road and the Loop 202 with her mother and dog when she was attacked by a Rottweiler, Gilbert Fire Department Division Chief Brian Ruffentine said.
She suffered bites to her arms and legs and was transported to Cardon Children’s Medical Center, Ruffentine said.
The attacking dog was licensed and is current on its shots, according to officials. The Rottweiler will be home quarantined for 10 days.
