CHANDLER, AZ - A party of 300 soldiers, veterans and their families will be enjoying a complimentary Thanksgiving feast at Z'Tejas Thursday.
For the seventh consecutive year the restaurant is giving back to servicemen and women, Kaplan said. The tradition started in Austin, Texas and traveled to Arizona in 2007.
Z'Tejas welcomes military members, who will not be home with their family, members of the Arizona National Guard and local veterans, to join the celebration.
They will have a complete traditional meal and a chance to participate in activities like the "turkey call" contest.
The two eating times are 10:45 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. at the Chandler location, 7221 W. Ray Road.
