PD: Intel cleared after bomb threat in Chandler

CHANDLER, AZ - Police say the Intel facility in Chandler has been cleared after a bomb threat forced an evacuation Wednesday morning.

The threat was regarding a possible explosive device at the Dobson and Ocotillo roads location, police said around 7:30 a.m.

Intel decided to evacuate the building once receiving the threat, according to Chandler police Sgt. Joe Favazzo.

The threat was reportedly contained to a specific area.

Police were on scene to help facilitate the evacuation and work with Intel personnel to search and clear the building.

Favazzo said nothing was found.
