The Chandler Police Department has released the 911 call from the deadly stabbing that happened outside an LA Fitness on August 18.
The caller says that he was walking to go into the gym and found the victim, later identified as 84-year-old Shivaswamy Hosakote, in his car not moving with the door open and blood on him.
Operators instruct the caller and another person to take the victim out of the car and begin chest compressions, and another person attempted to use the LA Fitness AED machine before police arrived on scene.
Hosakote was pronounced dead later that day at the hospital, and police are still investigating who is responsible.
