Silent Witness has increased the reward for information regarding two people who set a fireworks display on fire at a Phoenix Wal-Mart in June to $6,000.

The Wal-Mart near 51st Avenue and Indian School Road was evacuated June 15, after Phoenix fire officials said someone lit the display on fire, causing the sprinklers to activate and smoke to fill the store.

"Somebody could have been killed inside that store with that fire growing as fast as it did and as bad as it could have gotten," said Phoenix Fire Captain Larry Subervi.

Several people did complain about smoke inhalation, but luckily nobody had to be transported to the hospital.

It was originally reported that three to four people were wanted for questioning, but Silent Witness says the others pictured in previous stories have either already talked with police or have been ruled out as suspects.

Anyone with any information is asked to call Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS.
