PHOENIX - Police are investigating after two men were stabbed in West Phoenix Thursday night.
The incident happened around 8:10 p.m. at a home near 59th Avenue and Thomas Road.
Phoenix police Sgt. Trent Crump said one of the victims is in critical condition and the second victim's injuries are considered non-life threatening at this time.
Crump said the suspect is in custody. The motive for the altercation and stabbing are unknown at this time, however, the suspect appeared to be impaired, said Crump.
Police said there were several other family members inside the home including children at the time and it does not appear anyone else was injured.
