Police are investigating after a pharmacy was robbed Thursday night.
Officers responded to the CVS near 42nd Avenue and Thomas Road, where an employee confronted a suspected shoplifter in the parking lot.
The suspect pointed a gun at the worker, making the incident an armed robbery, police said. The suspects drove off in an SUV.
Police stopped a vehicle near 35th Avenue and McDowell Road matching the description of the one used in the robbery. Authorities later determined it was not involved, though one of the people inside was arrested on an outstanding warrant.
The investigation remained ongoing, authorities said.
No other information was immediately available.
