Phoenix police say 25-year-old Angel Torres Jr has died after an officer involved shooting early Saturday morning.
The shooting happened near 57th Avenue and Thomas Road.
Police say the shooting happened after Torres Jr went to a woman's home to pick up personal items and refused to leave. The two were reportedly in a relationship at one point.
Two children were also in the home at the time of the shooting, but nobody else was injured.
Police say Torres Jr was believed to be on drugs and had a replica BB handgun on him at the time of the shooting that officers believed was a gun at the time.
The woman got police to respond by texting a family member that she needed help.
