Police are looking for two people believed to have been inside an SUV when it hit a bicyclist Sunday.
Phoenix police said a 17-year-old was crossing mid-block near 75th Avenue and McDowell Road on his bicycle when he was hit by a vehicle.
Those inside the SUV got out and ran away, police said.
The cyclist was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
Officers shut down the road near where the crash happened as part of the investigation.
The suspects had not been caught.
