Police in Phoenix are investigating a homicide after a man was found dead in a road.
Police spokesman Trent Crump says a resident walking Saturday around 6 a.m. in the area of 83rd Avenue and
Durango Street found a body lying in an isolated area of the roadway.
Firefighters and officers responded and pronounced him dead.
Crump says he had clear signs of trauma but did not give a cause of death.
The victim has not yet been identified.
