MCSO: Driver sought in Phoenix hit-and-run

PHOENIX - Authorities are looking for a suspect in an apparent hit-and-run over the weekend.

The Maricopa County Sheriff's Office says a man was walking near 107th Avenue and Indian School Road at 8:42 p.m. Sunday when he was struck from behind by a vehicle.

The man landed on top of the vehicle's hood, according to MCSO.

The driver then reportedly got out of the vehicle, pulled the victim off the hood and then drove away, said MCSO.

A witness reported that the vehicle was a black Honda Civic 4-door sedan, according to the release.

The vehicle is believed to have damage to the hood and potentially to the windshield.
