Police are investigating after a husband and wife were found dead inside a home in West Phoenix.
Officials were called to the home near 63rd Avenue and Lower Buckeye Road just before 10 p.m. Monday.
According to information from the scene, four children were inside the home at the time of the incident. None of them were harmed and met officers when they arrived.
Officers found 33-year-old Iveth Susana Chavez and her husband, 34-year-old Oliver Olague-Acosta, dead in an apparent murder-suicide. Olague-Acosta has been identified as the suspect in the shooting.
The children told officials their mother and stepfather were arguing before they heard at least one gunshot. One of the kids called 911.
Police are continuing to investigate the incident.
