PHOENIX - A Glendale fire truck fell into a sink hole when it responded to a call Thursday morning.
A Glendale fire official said the crew was at a medical call in a CVS parking lot at 35th and Peoria avenues in Phoenix and when the driver put on the parking brake the rear tire went into a sink hole.
The hole is deep enough that most of the tire is below street level. An official said it was about 10 to 15 feet in circumference and 5 to 7 feet deep.
No one was injured.
The truck was pulled out of the hole and taken to the shop to be checked and repair if needed.
