PHOENIX - Medical professionals said the injuries sustained to a dog that was apparently thrown from a window Tuesday morning were too severe, and had to be put down.
Police received a phone call from someone who said they saw the dog being thrown from a van near 61st Avenue and Indian School Road.
The Arizona Humane Society said the dog suffered multiple pelvic fractures and a spinal fracture.
The dog got caught in a rope collar and was pinned between a wall and a palm tree, he said. The dog was taken to the Emergency Animal Clinic for treatment and had to be put down, he said.
