Police responded to an apartment complex near 43rd and Peoria avenues after multiple people reported that their cars had been vandalized.

According to Phoenix police, between 4 a.m. and 11:45 a.m. nearly a dozen people found various symbols and messages carved into their cars.

Two cars had "KKK" scratched into them, officials confirmed.
