Goodwill hosts Phoenix hiring event for Shutterfly

PHOENIX - Shutterfly is looking to fill one thousand positions. If you missed its job fair Thursday morning, you can still apply.

Goodwill hosted an event for Shutterfly and Tiny Prints which has 1,000 seasonal positions available for immediate hire at their Valley facilities.

Shutterfly and Tiny Prints are known for making photo books and greeting cards.  They're now hiring seasonal workers ahead of the holidays. Shutterfly is looking for customer service representatives, production graphic designers, general manufacturing and warehouse positions, according to Richmond Vincent Jr. Vice President of Workforce Development, Goodwill of Central Arizona.

Shutterfly has facilities in Phoenix and Tempe and need to fill the positions immediately to get ready for the holiday season.

Job seekers must be at least 18 years of age and need to have a high school diploma.

Candidates are encouraged to arrive early, to bring a resume, dress professionally and be prepared to talk to hiring managers.

The hiring event is being held at the South Mountain Career Center, located at 1980 W. Baseline Road, Ste. 120 in Phoenix.

The event was held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

According to Goodwill, roughly two hundred people were expected to attend the job fair.  If you missed it, contact a Goodwill Career Center to fill out an application.

Tateeta Anderson, with Corestaff Services, was in charge of screening applicants at the job fair.  She said candidates should have a resume and be professionally dressed. 

She also said it's important to do your research.  "You want to know something about the company," Anderson said.
