SRP: Power restored to 3,500 in South Phoenix

PHOENIX - Salt River Project officials say an open circuit breaker is to blame for a power outage that affected thousands of residents Monday afternoon.

Officials said about 3,500 people were without power starting around 3 p.m.

The outage ran from 16th Street to 27th Avenue, and from Southern to South Mountain.

Power was restored to residents around 5:25 p.m.
