Phoenix police have reportedly arrested a man suspected of shooting his ex-girlfriend last week.
MaleqeThompson, 19, was on the run after fleeing from the Thursday attack at an apartment complex on Cave Creek Road.
Officers arrested him without incident after he was spotted at a bus stop around 9 a.m. near 35th Avenue and Baseline Road. He was considered armed and dangerous before he was located near 35th Avenue and Baseline Road on Wednesday.
The victim, a woman around 40 years old, suffered life-threatening injuries from the gunshot wound. Her current condition is not known.
Police said Thompson was recently in a romantic relationship with the victim.
