The door of a Circle K was damaged early Thursday morning.
It happened at the store at 27th Avenue and Buckeye Road.
A clerk tells ABC15, he had just locked the store's front door because he was working on something in the back when he heard something that sounded like a gunshot.
The clerk said he called 911 but officers did not find the shooter.
Phoenix police said it is unclear what object was used to shatter the glass.
No major injuries were reported.
