Two stabbed to death in north Phoenix after fight between business partners, police say

PHOENIX - Phoenix police say two brothers who were part-owners of a Vietnamese restaurant were fatally stabbed during a fight.

Police spokesman Sgt. Tommy Thompson says the fight erupted Wednesday shortly before 11 a.m. between the two pairs of brothers that own the Pho 35 Vietnamese Noodle House located at 3515 W. Northern Ave.

One pair of brothers were stabbed and taken to a local hospital, where they died from their injuries.

The other pair of brothers remained at the scene and were detained by officers for questioning.

After questioning the brothers, police arrested 51-year-old Tony Phung on suspicion of two counts of second-degree murder.

Police did not release the names of any of the other three men who were involved in the fight.
