Surveillance photos released of Phoenix bank robbery suspect

PHOENIX - Police continue to look for a suspect they say robbed three banks in north Phoenix Wednesday afternoon.

Three surveillance photos have been released showing the suspect wearing a Chicago Bulls hat and a backpack. In one photo he appears to be showing the teller a weapon.

Phoenix police say the robberies occurred within about an hour of each other.

The first was at a Chase bank near Tatum Boulevard and Bell Road, the second at a Wells Fargo in the same area and then a Desert Schools Federal Credit Union near 7th Street and Bell Road.

Police say a white or Hispanic woman was seen driving the getaway car described as a 4-door red Dodge Neon, or similar vehicle, with the letters “Graphic-------.com” in white on both sides of the car.

Anyone who recognizes the suspect or has any information about the robberies is asked to call Phoenix police at 602-262-6151 or Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS.
