Police looking for thief taking packages from front of Valley homes

PHOENIX - Police are hoping to catch a thief who’s been taking delivered packages from the front of Valley homes.

One of the thefts occurred around 1:15 p.m. on July 16 in north Phoenix when the suspect took a package from the front porch.

The suspect also took a delivered package from a homeowner in Surprise.

Police say the suspect may have prior knowledge of the deliveries and may be working with someone else to get delivery information that leads him to the victims’ addresses.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, 5 feet 8 inches tall, 160 pounds and approximately 35 years old. He was seen with a mustache and tattoos on both arms.

Police say the suspect has been seen driving a dark 4-door sedan.
