PHOENIX - Phoenix police arrested a man accused of using a mirror to look into a dressing room at a Goodwill store Sunday afternoon.
According to Phoenix police Officer James Holmes, a 14-year-old girl was changing clothes at the store near 32nd Street and Chandler Boulevard when she saw a mirror under the barrier leading to the dressing rooms.
She called out for her mother who saw the suspect fleeing from the dressing room area and chased the man to a condominium complex near the business.
Responding officers searched the area but were not able to find the suspect.
An investigation at the store revealed evidence left at the scene that belonged to a person of interest.
Later into the investigation, 63-year-old Victor Miguel Villalobos was identified as the suspect, Holmes said.
Police went to Villalobos' home around 8:30 p.m. Monday and placed him under arrest for unlawfully viewing, taping or recording a person.
Villalobos didn't have an attorney at his arraignment Tuesday. He was released on his own recognizance pending a Sept. 17 status conference.
