PD: Dozens of car windows broken in N. Phoenix overnight

PHOENIX - Police are investigating after dozens of vehicles were vandalized in north Phoenix overnight.

Phoenix police Sgt. Trent Crump said early this morning they started getting calls from residents in the area of Happy Valley Road on both sides of Interstate 17 who had damage to their vehicle windows.

Crump said they’d received close to 50 reports of damage to vehicles that were parked in roadway and driveways at different locations in the area that extended north to about Carefree Highway.

Police said the damage was caused by BB or pellet guns.

So far police have no suspects and ask anyone with information about the vandalism to call the Phoenix Police Department or to remain anonymous call Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS.
