PHOENIX - Police say three children suffered life-threatening injuries in an accident in north Phoenix Saturday night.
The crash happened around 7:30 p.m. near 35th Avenue and Greenway Road.
According to Phoenix police, two cars were street racing when one hit another car head-on.
Police say the car that was racing had two young men and the vehicle they hit had a man and three children.
The children range in age from 3 to 11, according to police.
Police said all the children were taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
All the adults were taken to the hospital with less serious injuries, police said.
The accident caused one of the vehicles to end up on its roof.
