Phoenix police find handcuffed, hooded man in truck

PHOENIX - Phoenix police are investigating a kidnapping situation that happened Monday night in north Phoenix.

Police responded to a trailer park near 25th Street and Greenway Parkway around 10:30 p.m. on Monday, when they found a man in the bed of a truck with handcuffs on and a bag over his head.

When police arrived the driver of the truck ran into the trailer park, and the passenger of the truck was taken into custody.

After setting up a perimeter, police found the driver in a nearby shed. The suspect eventually gave up without incident.

Police say the victim who is a 39-year-old male told police he was walking around the area of Cave Creek Road and Bell Road when the vehicle came up behind him and forced him into the bed of the truck.

Authorities found two rifles and two handguns in the truck. The truck had also been reported stolen two days prior to the incident.

Police have not released the names of the suspects at this time.
