PHOENIX - People living near 51st Avenue and Greenway Road in north Phoenix had more than just rain to deal with Monday.
Many had flooded homes once the storm passed.
Victor Padilla's house had some water inside.
"It just stayed kind of on the floor. We got some in that room and it went in this room a little," Padilla said.
Padilla's front yard filled with eight inches of water, enough to keep his goats, donkeys and peacocks on higher ground until the water goes away.
Padilla said he knows if the water doesn't go away before tomorrow he'll be in a whole lot of trouble.
"I hope this is all gone by then. If not I'll get flooded again tomorrow," he said.
