PHOENIX - The Arizona Humane Society is opening its fourth thrift store benefiting the care of more than 43,000 animals each year and is in need of donations.
The thrift store, slated to open in mid-March, will be located near Cave Creek Road and Sweetwater Avenue in Phoenix.
By 2016, the store is expected to generate $175,000 a year to help save the lives of homeless animals, said Arizona Humane Society spokeswoman Bretta Nelson.
The Arizona Humane Society is asking for donations of clothes, household items and furniture.
