PHOENIX - A kitten that was thrown from a moving vehicle will go up for adoption Thursday.
The 5-week-old black kitten was thrown from a vehicle near 43rd Avenue and Bell Road about 6 weeks ago, Arizona Humane Society Public Relations Manager Bretta Nelson said.
A passerby called AHS and told them what happened to the kitten and AHS rushed the kitten to their Second Chance Animal Hospital.
The kitten did not have any serious injuries from the incident and was named Lucky, Nelson said.
Lucky will be up for adoption Thursday at 4:30 p.m. by the Arizona Humane Society. There will be a drawing for the owner at that time.
His adoption fee is $75, which includes neuter surgery, first vaccinations, free follow-up vet exam, identification tag and carrier.
Call 602-997-7585 extension 2045 or arrive to the adoption event early if you have any questions regarding Lucky.
The Arizona Humane Society's Sunnyslope Shelter is located at 9226 North 13th Avenue in Phoenix, 85021.
