The Phoenix Fire Department says one person has died and three others are in critical condition after a crash Saturday morning.
Phoenix police say the collision happened just after 7:30 a.m. and three vehicles were involved at the intersection of 43rd and Northern avenues.
When fire crews arrived on scene a truck was rolled over and several people had to be extricated.
They say a 70-year-old man was pronounced deceased and three others were transported to the hospital in critical condition.
The area was closed for several hours but has since reopened.
