PHOENIX - A 6-year-old is in the care of Child Protective Services after she was left at a Phoenix McDonald's on Wednesday.
The mother of the child, Lucy Parra, dropped her daughter off at the McDonald's near 23rd Avenue and Bethany Home Road and when the girl went inside, Parra drove off.
According to court documents, after 15 minutes of searching the area, McDonald's employees could not find Parra anywhere and called police.
Phoenix police were on the scene for 15 minutes, when Parra showed up to look for her daughter.
Parra was arrested on child abuse charges, and after further investigation Phoenix police found that Parra left two other children at a family member's house.
Parra was released from Tent City on Wednesday morning, after a week stay for driving with a suspended license.
