Fiesta Bowl Parade hits streets of downtown Phoenix

PHOENIX - The Fiesta Bowl Parade kicked off in Phoenix Saturday morning, marking its 41st  year with a massive celebration to help ring in the new year! 

The parade featured more than 100 entrants, including high school bands from across the nation, ornate floats and displays, and even some of the ABC15 team.

The two-mile parade began at 11 a.m., rolling down Central Avenue just north of Montebello Avenue, entertaining thousands of spectators along the parade route.

Crews on Friday assembled bleachers and put final touches on floats in preparation for the huge crowds who made it out to Saturday's event.
