Visually impaired man making a difference for Arizona

PHOENIX - Tanner Robinson has hiked Mount Kilimanjaro and the Grand Canyon. He even did the swim to Alcatraz.

Those feats are impressive on their own, but imagine doing them and being partially blind.

Robinson is a former student at the Foundation for Blind Children.

He is now the Elections Specialist at the Arizona Secretary of State’s Office.

Robinson was hired on after an internship, showing his lack of vision in no way prevented him from doing great things.

Nearly 70 percent of visually impaired and blind adults are unemployed.

Robinson is a great example of the many visually impaired people working hard to make an impact.
