It's happened again. Yet another Valley driver is sharing his story after a close call with a wrong-way driver.

Andrew Vock told ABC15 a minivan drove straight towards him as he was exiting the Loop 101 at the eastbound off-ramp to 7th Avenue on Saturday night. He captured the near-collision on a camera he mounted to his rear-view mirror.

"My heart was pounding for a good while after that," Vock said.

Vock drives for a ride-share company, Lyft, and says he was on his way to pick up a passenger when he encountered the wrong-way driver. Video from his car shows the other vehicle swerve out of the way, as Vock honks his horn.

"That's one of the biggest fears when you're out on the road, you just never know what's going to happen," he said.

Vock shared the video with ABC15 in hopes it serves as a reminder to keep your eyes on the road, and to not drive distracted.

"I'll see people with phones in their hand, they're not paying any attention to the road," he said. "Just be careful out there because your life and other people's lives are in danger."

It's unknown why the other driver was heading in the wrong direction.

Vock says he did not call police to report the incident since no crash occurred and he did not get the other driver's license plate number. He simply wants this to serve as a wake-up call for other drivers.
