PHOENIX - It was another special homecoming Friday for military families here in the Valley.
Four soldiers came back from Afghanistan just in time for Christmas.
On a day like this, emotions are hard to contain.
One father can't take his eyes off the door. "I hope the flights on time."
You never stop being a parent. "I'm worried. Where is she, you know?" said Frank Tasnadi who has a daughter in Afghanistan
The wait is agonizing and then right behind him, she appears.
"Come here sweetie, love you!"
For these families, the hugs last a little bit longer.
There was a huge turnout for the four soldiers who returned Friday morning.
In part thanks to the USO which works to make sure every soldier is greeted warmly.
