PHOENIX - Valley moms showed their support on Saturday for a Georgia mother who was kicked out of an Applebee's for breastfeeding.
Groups of women gathered at six Applebee's in the Valley as part of a "nurse-in." The initiative started with a Facebook group called Mother's Right to Choose .
The group wants to educate businesses that women have a right to breast feed in public.
Applebee's issued an apology to the woman in Georgia, and said it was a misunderstanding.
Arizona is one of 45 states that protects a woman's right to breast feed.
