PHOENIX - The freezing weather played a part in causing a vehicle to crash into a Phoenix car dealership Tuesday morning.
The accident happened just after 8 a.m. at Courtesy Chevrolet near 12th Street and Camelback Road.
Phoenix police Sgt. Trent Crump said the driver was going too fast for the conditions, there was light ice on the road, and lost control of the vehicle hitting the front window of the dealership.
Phoenix fire Capt. Scott McDonald said someone in the showroom had an injured leg and was taken to the hospital for treatment.
Video showed the SUV with its front end stuck in the glass window and damage to a couple of nearby vehicles.
